Profile

Coco was surrendered to RAGOM by a breeder because Coco has entropion, a condition where the eyelids turn inward. This is alleviated by surgery, which Coco will have when she is spayed. Coco is an energetic sweetheart who can live with cats and other dogs. Her puppy teeth are very sharp, so children in her home should be age 8 or older. She does not require a physical fence. Coco’s family must supply lots of love, exercise, and training to help Coco grow into a confident, well-mannered dog.

Coco here: I have my very own sponsors—thank you for making it possible for me to see the specialist to see if I have a heart condition, and then getting my eye surgery. I was high maintenance for a little bit, but now I’m all fixed up and good as new!

From Foster Mom: Coco is doing really, really well! She had her spay and entropion surgery and bounced back without missing a beat. She had to wear a cone for a few days that she wasn’t thrilled about, but we needed to make sure she didn’t get at her eyes or spay sutures. Her eyes are healing up and she looks so good.

Coco has really blossomed these past few weeks. Her sister was adopted a couple of weeks ago, so she had time with the adult dogs. She was able to stretch her wings and explore being a big girl all by herself.

Coco is a gem: She is silly, confident, enjoys meeting new people and going new places, and meeting other dogs. It’s been so rewarding to see her come into her own. She is a love.

And the best news of all—Coco found her forever family! Her new family has a mom and dad and a 3-year-old Golden Retriever. Dad just retired and looks forward to spending time with his two “kids” and focusing on all things dog. Please join me in wishing Miss Coco and her new family the best!

Hi everybody, I’m Coco! I’m 13 weeks old, and my mom foster mom says I’m wild and crazy. I was surrendered to RAGOM from a commercial breeder because I have entropion—my eyelids are turned in. I’m scheduled for my spay and surgery to fix my eyes in a few days. I’m also up to date with vaccinations. I’ll be ready to go to my forever home really soon—will you be ready for me?!

My foster mom says I’m a girl of action. When I’m outside I’m usually on the go: chasing a ball, getting one of the other dogs to play with me, or following my mom around.

I learned so much this past week: I learned about sticks, balls (and I even bring it back to mom when she throws it!), and zoomies. I do zoomies from the living room into the TV room, and then into the kitchen around the island. Around and around, as fast as I can go! Just yesterday I found a new room—the bedroom, and the bed!

It’s not all crazy around here though—my mom wouldn’t like that. Sometimes she puts me in the penned-in area that has lots of toys and stuff to chew on, and I hang out. Sometimes she comes in there and sits with me to snuggle. I just love that!

When I go outside mom walks with me and says, “Go potty, and do you-know-what.” I go because she then tells me what a good girl I am when I’m done! I’m doing really good with potty training.

My sister Millie and I sleep in a crate in the bedroom at night. Mom puts us out once in the middle of the night to do our business. She works from home so we get lots of attention even though she’s supposed to be working. We like to play and explore outside. You should have seen us with the new snow—we loved it, and we chased each other and played in it until we were pooped!

Foster Mom says that I am such a fun-loving, affectionate girl. I’ll make some family very happy; I have so much love to give.
