2/9/06: How can you resist this smile?? Add in a very gentle temperament, a true gentleman that gets along with kids, cats and all dogs, is housebroken, loves to be petted, a true friend, and you?ve got the recipe for the ?PERFECT? dog. He is named Cody, and I?m the lucky foster home that gets to have him at my house ? at least until a family meets him. Once you meet him, you?ll want him for your very own.
I picked up Cody today from his adoptive family where he had lived for the past five years. (He was a RAGOM dog in 2001 and once a RAGOM dog, always a RAGOM dog). When his family could no longer care for him due to a change in family circumstances and human allergies, he was returned to RAGOM to once again have us help him find a loving family. Cody is now 9 years old.
Cody is child tested and safe. His previous family included a 3-year old child that would crawl all over Cody. Cody would tolerate it for a while, then when he?d had enough, he would get up and move away. Never a snarl, growl, or any aggression out of this lovely guy according to his previous owners. He met my three adult dogs today in his normal gentle manner and has been tolerating little puppy, Zach 06-028, as Zach jumps at his head and pulls at his collar. After a bit of puppy annoyance, Cody gets up and moves away. He enjoys people attention, being petted and receiving treats. If you are looking for a wonderful new friend that is move in ready, you want to meet Cody.
Cody will be greeting people at the PetCo event on Saturday, 2-11.
