Punky is a BEAUTIFUL 95 pound 1/2 Golden 1/2 Chocolate Lab. He looks like a very large Lab, but with a unique and beautiful light red coat.

Punky is 1 year old and acts his age. That is to say he is 95 lbs of pure puppy energy. He is a VERY sweet dog who LOVES to cuddle and loves to go for a walk. Punky has been through level 2 obedience- and knows quite a few commands. In fact, he loves to practice them every day after dinner. Punky is very food motivated, which means that he will always be easy to train.

Punky is good with other dogs, has been around cats, but has not spent time around kids. He is so big and clumsy that he would do best with a family who does not have small children or fragile adults.

If you are an active family or person looking for an exercise buddy, a companion, and a best friend- Punky is the one for you.

Cody  (formerly known as Punky) (10-030) joined our home in mid-February and has fit in just nicely.  He LOVES his fenced in back yard and has enjoyed playing snowball fetch running back and forth in the snow.   He has taken to his new crate during the day, and after a first restless, little sleep night, has settled into sleeping next to the bed on his bed throughout the entire night...  making us quite happy.  He is boundless energy, goofiness, and playfulness.  Cody has been a great addition to the family and has been a perfect fit for us.  He has had his moments.... like stealing and eating almost 2/3rds of a freshly baked pumpkin pie... but he is settling down very nicely and seems like he feels at home   :-)
