7/25/07: Cooper has arrived! Cooper is 11 weeks old and cute as a button. He and his siblings were turned in by their owner to a vet clinic in Iowa so RAGOM stepped in and now they are all on to bigger and brighter futures!

Although Cooper may not look like a typical Golden, he IS part Golden and part Border Collie. He has the softest black fur and lots of brown/blonde flecks of color in his coat. He has a white blaze on his chest and a bit on his paws. He is a dream boat.

He had a bath at our home beauty parlor. That included the hose and lots of shampoo. He was very good. He was buffed and dried and given a spritz of detangler. He smells so good. He's met two of our resident Goldens and all three children. Coop is sweet, likes to be held and has not bothered the dogs at all.

This big pup needs a forever home where he'll be loved and wanted no matter what. Are you that family?

Oh my goodness. Cooper is a GREAT PUPPY. This guy has been with us for just a few days and is sweet, loving and oh so soft. Cooper is one of those pups that can entertain himself by chewing on toys, throwing them in the air, barking at them and then giving them a good shake. Tonight, he chased lightening bugs but they were just too quick for him.

Cooper is interested and playful with the dogs but not needy with them. He leaves them alone when they tell him to and reads dog language very well. He is gentle with the kids and would do well in a home with children of all ages. He doesn't mind being picked up (although he will be getting way too big for that soon) and "kid" handled and he is not the least bit bothered by me playing in his food bowl while he is trying to eat. He is working on the whole potty issue but we still have accidents. He is so young but will learn quickly.

He rides well in the car and settles in his crate at night. He had to go to another foster yesterday since we were out of town. He met all four resident dogs there and some tiny kitties that he barked at but never gave chase or bothered them. He sniffed noses with the big kitty and all went well. He got rave reviews from Kay and her husband and they fell in love immediately.

Coop has that puppy energy and will need lots of ball throwing, walks and maybe even a running partner someday! If you want a super puppy who is GOLDEN personality all the way with the most handsome tri color coat, look no further. COOP is YOUR MAN.
