Cooper Pup 09-287

Profile

Cooper arrived from Oklahoma Thursday night.  He is a very handsome, very intelligent 6 month old PB male.  Cooper met our resident dogs with no problems.  He loves to play, but also respects the older resident who isn’t into playing.  You can also see from the pictures that he likes to watch the airplanes fly over our home.  It’s vey cute.

Cooper responds to his name even with distractions.  He also knows sit really well, especially if it means getting a treat.  Cooper can retrieve.  He requires only a few tosses, and then he has had enough.  After some practice Cooper now walks nicely with only a flat collar.  Cooper is always at my side and wants to please, so he should excel in obedience classes.   He also appears to be housetrained.

We have completed Cooper’s wellness check.  He weighed in at 60 lbs.  He is thin and could gain some weight.  However, he has a great appetite, so that won’t be a problem.  Cooper has very long legs and tail, so he should be good sized after he fills out.  Cooper has not been neutered, so we will get that behind him after the holidays.

More to come about this very sweet boy later….
