5/21/05: Hi, this is my sister Abby and me. I am the one with the short stubby legs. But please don't under-estimate my running ability. Abby is my best friend and I do everything with her. I eat and drink the same time that she does, lay close to her (she uses my back as a head rest), and play catch with her. We both run for it but I make her carry it back!
Our story is sad but we are trying to make the most of it. Our human siblings are VERY allergic to us and have had major medical concerns because of it. Our mom and dad love us so much but had to do what was best for the kids. We understand, but we do miss them. This foster family is loving us up! I, Copper, am 9 years old, and my sister Abby is 8 years old. My foster mom thinks we act much younger than our ages. We chase tennis balls and Kongs over and over again. We visit neighbors, who, by the way, love us. There is nothing old-acting about us.
We were very loved by our parents. We are UTD with shots, just had a teeth cleaning, and were recently groomed. We have been neutered and spayed also. We will be microchipped this week when we get our toenails clipped. They have a guinea pig here but we both can't be bothered by such rodents! I haven't met a cat though!
