Shanna’s puppies are doing well - there are 6 girls and 4 boys.  We lost the 5th boy during delivery.  These pups do not have names yet, but very soon they will.  The puppies weighed in at .75 to 1 pound.

Toes 07-277 is also pictured here with Shanna and her puppies because she is one of them now and she weighs 1.6 pounds.

These puppies will be ready to go home around June 24th – if you are interested in meeting them please email placementatragom [dot] org.  I will start individual updates at the end of May, but if you would like to talk about them, we can do that!

Lilah is doing well and is still the biggest of all the puppies.  We told Lilah that she needed to work off a few of those puppy rolls, so when we go outside to play in the evening we have her do a few extra laps.  I think she feels we are playing and not exercising so that is a good thing.

When we get done with these play sessions she is exhausted and goes right to sleep!  Lilah is another one of those pups that likes to let herself out onto the deck and than go find a nice hiding place to sleep.  We usually find her either under a grill or in the corner by the fire pit.

Lilah is doing great on the potty training and goes out at least half the time on her own to pee, I don’t think she has ever pooped in the house.  She likes her area clean and tidy.  Oh wait maybe that is me, who likes their area clean and tidy.

Lilah will be ready to go to her forever home around June 20th, so get ready!!!

Dahlila – Lilah – Turns 4 weeks tomorrow!  Can you believe it?  I can’t, these guys are great puppies and now they are working on potty training.  We built them a little puppy ramp so they can get out the door and on to the deck.  It is so fun!!!

If the puppies can eat outside they have their meals in the great outdoors and than like clock work, everyone potties!  Yep it’s true; we stay outside until every one finish their business, than we bring them in so we can hose down the area.  Once that is done if they are still playing we will bring them back out to play for a while.  This is morning two, of a clean pen when we got up in the morning!  I just love that!  Lots of little pee spots but that is so easy to clean up while they are eating, no piles to clean is awesome!  These guys are the best pups around.

Okay enough of the bragging – we have so much to cover with these little guys.  Lilah went to the vet and weighed in at 4.81 and the biggest of Shanna’s pups by far!  Dr. L. thought she was doing great but needs to go on a diet!  She got another dose of de-wormer and won’t be seen now until she is 7 weeks to get micro chipped and given her first set of shots.

Lilah would like to give a great big thank you to her sponsor Kent and Marilyn Howe.  Thank you so much for caring about RAGOM and their dogs.  We could not do this without you and your support!

Dahlila has found her forever home and will be joining Kevin, Kristy and family in a few short weeks – well 4 weeks to be exact.  Dahlila is doing well and eating lots of mush and seems to enjoy it!  Dahlila is still the most vocal of the pups and will tell you exactly how it should be.  However she is also the first to come up and snuggle on your lap and just want to hang with you.  She will keep her new family hopping!

Dahlila has not gotten her new name as of yet, but I am sure we will hear soon.  Dahlila will continue on the good food and continue to grow.  Dahlila and all the pups will be heading to the vet on Friday to get check out again and make sure we do not have any more nasty worms.

Dahlila would like to thank everyone for thinking about her and wanting to adopt her, but she thinks she found the best family around!  Thank you!!!

Dahlila has been showing her true colors these past few days.  When the weather got really warm she did nothing but cry for 4 hours.  Because she was warm and not happy about it!

Than when she gets cold she cuddles as close as she can to her brothers and sisters.  Dahlila is by far the biggest of the girl puppies.  She now weighs 3 pounds and boy does she look well feed.

She loves to be cuddled and loves to be talked to.  Once you put Dahlila in your arms she just melts your heart.

Dahlila is doing great and is growing by leaps and bounds.  We went to the vet yesterday and she now weighs 1.58 pounds which is the largest girl puppy and tied with Spencer the boy pup.  She received her first dose of de-wormer and the vet said her heart and lungs sound great and there are no signs of a heart murmur.  Yea for Dahlila!

Dahlila is doing wonderful with bottle feeding and she also loves to try and get milk from mom.  When it happens we are very happy, but when the puppies are crying and trying to get milk we know we have to help.  She was so hungry this morning she just ate 4 oz.

Dahlila will go back to the vet in a few weeks to get another dose of de-warmer and than she won’t go back until she is 7 weeks for shots and micro chipping.

Dahlila (girl pup), ninth to be born of 11 pups.  She made her way into this world at the emergency clinic in Apple Valley.  Dahlila was born on 4/29 at 1:40 in the morning.  Dahlila will always have a Orange collar on when we take pictures.

Dahlila was born at just under 1 pound she was one of the largest pups and still can hold her own against her brothers and sisters.  She just hit a pound yesterday at 1.4 pounds and is one of the largest puppies.  Dahlila loves formula so always gets enough to eat.

Thanks for checking on Dahlila – she will be ready at the end of June for adoption.

Shanna pups are doing great – I just have one picture of where they all go when we have to bring Shanna out – as you can see this won’t last much longer – they are already out growing one basket!  Everyone weighs over 1 pound now which is great news.  Now we just have to keep things going in the right direction.
