Hi there everybody, my name is Daisy. I am an 8 year old light Golden, but feel more like a 5 year old. I love to play! I went to the Vet today and I weighed in at 69lbs. The nice lady there said I looked great. I got all my shots and now I am ready to find my forever home. My previous family had to let me go because I kept running off. They couldn’t fence in their yard because they lived on a nature preserve and I just couldn't resist a romp in the woods. Hello. I am a dog and dogs like to chase animals! Anyway my foster family has a fence around their yard and that keeps me contained. So, if you have a fenced yard then I will be A-ok. I tried a tie-out, but it hurt my neck when I would run after an animal. So, I have been here with my foster family for a few days now and I know they really like me a lot. I have been a very good house guest and I have really been minding my manners. I am a very friendly girl and I like to cuddle and have my belly rubbed. Oh, yeah! If you just walk by me I will roll on to my back to get some tummy rubbin love. Hey, but doesn’t everybody? I guess you could say that I am a pretty typical Golden. I love to be where you are and if you are petting me, even better.I lived with kids and my foster family also has a couple of little ones. They are really nice to me and I like that. I give them big sloppy kisses to show just how much I like them. I also get along with the other dogs here and the cat. Me and Sally the Dane wrestle a little bit, but it's not fair that she is so tall. I also met the other two large dogs here, and don't mind them at all. Lucy is even bigger than Sally, but isn't as playful. Chief doesn't do anything either. There is a cat here too, but I don't mind him at all. I don't think cats are very tasty. Speaking of tasty, I am loving the natural diet here. It reminds me of the nature preserve a bit and is so yummy. A while ago I was diagnosed with Lymes. It isn’t too big of a deal though. Once in a while it just makes my joints a little stiff and then all I need is some meds for a couple days. That is it. See no biggie. Do I sound great or what? I know my foster family thinks I am.
