Daisy is a very beautiful, happy, energetic and loving 2.5 year old girl. She weighs 73 pounds and all UTD on shots. She is going in on June 30th to be spayed and will be available for adoption after that.
Daisy has been with us now for about 2 weeks now and she is doing very well. She originally came from a home that kept her in the garage all the time and did not give her much attention. She was rescued from that place by a wonderful family that gave her so much love, got her all UTD on shots, even took her in for some training. She did well, is a very smart girl. She will sit and lay down with just a hand signal, and knows what time it is when she sees you get leash out! They didn't want to give her up but with all the energy that Daisy has, they did not have a big yard to let her run around in, and wanted to do the best for her by giving her a chance at a home where she can run and play.
She has made some great progress. Daisy is house broken and crate-trained. She used to pull really hard on a leash and still tries at first. With a little encouragement she walks GREAT! She LOVES tennis balls, and any toy with a squeaker in it! She likes to take the stuffing out of stuffed toys but does not eat it. She does some counter surfing but is learning that is not an appropriate thing for a doggy to do. She LOVES anyone that will love her up and give her belly a rub. She sometimes gets so excited and will jump and has knocked our 5 year old daughter over a couple of times in the first few days. She is doing better in the last week. She does well with dogs and plays great with our resident dog. She did have a cat at her previous home but the cat didn't want to play, and would just hide from her.
