Daphne 07-659

Profile

What a gem!  Little Miss Daphne is a mixed golden and hound.  She is reddish in color with short hair.  She is about 68 lbs, and only about 18 inches tall (to her shoulders), and about 4 1/2 years old.

Daphne is adjusting well to her foster home in Minnetonka.  She is a little darling with a loving and mellow temperment.  Daphne loves to be petted (under her chin is a favorite!),listens well (come, sit, down, kennel-up), plays well with her new resident friends, and even shares!

Daphne is wonderful with children! It is obvious she adores and is comfortable with people.  She has loving, expressive eyes that shine as much as she wags her tail!

Daphne unexpectedly became ill and was found to have spleen cancer. She was suffering from a ruptured tumor and we helped her end her suffering while we surrounded her with our love. Daphne was a part of our family for 4 years and we treasured every moment with her. She was a calm dog and learned the art of relaxing. Not only was Daphne wonderful to our family, but she also helped us to foster several RAGOM dogs.

It is difficult to put into words what a dog means to you. They just aren't just a dog. They are a family member, a friend, a companion, a confidant, a shoulder to lean on, and so much more. Daphne was all of that and more. We miss you and love you Daphne!
