6/3/06: Ms. Dixie has arrived. She hitched a ride with a whole clan from the south to find a better life. She is sweet, energetic, loves to give kisses, and gets along with the other 2 dogs & the cat. Today was grooming day. Bath, brushing, nail trimming & ear cleaning. She loved the attention. She slept through the night with no problems. Tonight hamburger & rice is on the menu, because her tummy is a little upset. Doesn't help that the foster mom was unprepared with puppy food! More later when she gets to her permanent foster home.
