The first thing you need to know about Dorus is that he is a male.  He was raised by a Dutch family who named him after a famous Dutch clown who was a favorite of children.  This name is very appropriate for Dorus as he is a favorite of my children and he just loves being around kids.  In fact he likes being around any humans, especially if they want to pet his soft fur or if they happen to have one of his cookies. 

He was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and spent his first 2 years there, before his family moved to Minnesota.    They had almost daily thunderstorms there, so Dorus has no anxiety about storms.  He comes with his own passport and he knows commands in both English and Dutch. 

Though he will be 13 on August 7th he is very healthy.  He has no problems climbing up our stairs or jumping into our car.  He is very gentle and extremely well behaved.  Dorus is being fostered in Stillwater, MN.
