I am psyched to have found my furever home. My new owners are super-excited to have me! I have a nice big yard to run around in, and a couple of buddies who will be visiting often to play with me!

The cool thing is that Max & Cookie were also RAGOM dogs! I can't wait to hang out and play with them. Surely we will have lots to talk about. Especially how lucky we are to have found such great homes with our awesome families!

Hiya! My name is Deuce. I’m a 9 month-old mixed breed dog. I enjoy being shrouded in a bit of mystery as little is known about my past. But that’s okay because I like to look ahead! I was running the streets of Minot, ND when I was picked up and brought to the pound. When nobody claimed me, the good people at RAGOM stepped up and promised to find me a great home. So here I am!

I currently weigh just under 50 lbs. I’m not small, I’m fun-sized! My foster dad tells me I’m very unusual for a rescue dog in that I don’t show signs of trauma that typical foster dogs do. Foster dad says he’s very impressed that I already know commands like sit, come, shake, and that he thinks I’m a quick learner and will master many more commands in the future.

Foster dad was so excited when he figured out that I am house-broken and crate-trained. I haven’t had a single boo-boo inside his house. I know that outside is the place for me to go potty.

I have a good bit of energy and really enjoy playing with other dogs. My foster brother Jackson outweighs me by about 25 pounds, but that doesn’t make me shy away from wrestling around with him one bit. We love running around foster dad’s yard together. We love to wrestle, play ‘chase’, and play tug-of-war with the big sticks we find. I usually let that big goof Jackson win, just don’t tell him that.

I love going on walks with Jackson. I’ve learned pretty quickly to walk nicely on a leash, and to stay in my lane so Jackson can walk next to me. But there are times I still get excited when we see other dogs or when we walk by something that I absolutely have to stop and sniff.

I just love being around people. Especially my foster dad. In fact, I love being so close to him that sometimes he tells me I need to back off a bit. Foster dad says we need to work on my manners some, and I can’t really argue with that. I don’t mean to get so close, I just get really excited being around my peeps.

Foster dad tells me I have a ‘minor procedure’ scheduled for April 30. Pretty sure he calls it ‘minor’ because it’s not happening to him. Regardless, he tells me I won’t be able to be a doggy daddy afterwards, and I’m okay with that.

I would love to find a home where my people would be with me most of the time. I would be a great companion dog for someone who would love being around me as much as I would them. I have a great big heart and can’t wait to share it with the right people.
