Duke (Koda 09-119)

Profile

FINALLY! Help us welcome Koda to the RAGOM family! We have been anticipating his arrival for over a month!

What a sweetheart! OMG. And those ears...SO cute! He can give you that little head tilt like, "What mom? It wasn't me!" and you will just melt!

Anyway, we have a lot of questions and concerns for the vet, as he and his littermates had an EXTREMELY rough start to life, medically speaking!

So, I will update more after our visit to the vet this afternoon!

From Duke's (formerly known as Koda) forever family...

I just thought I would send a quick note to let you know how Koda is adapting to his new home. We decided we would like to change his name to Duke and he quickly learned to respond to his new name. He and his new fur sister get along great. They play quietly with their toys indoors, but as soon as they are in the back yard all bets are off. Duke and Sadie (his sister) will run and chase each other for as long as they are outside.

For Mothers Day Duke decided it would be a good day to finish his shots at the vet. He has gained two pounds since his last trip to the vet. The vet says that there is no indication of his previous sickness, and he seems to be getting more energy every day. We think he is getting taller, but it is hard to tell after only one week.

Overall, Duke is turning into a sweet, mild mannered dog with a slight mischievous streak. It is fun to watch him sneak up on his sister when she is playing with the only toy he wants at the moment,(mostly because she has it). He crouches on the floor and slowly sneaks up and waits till Sadie is distracted and then pounces.

He has been a great joy for our family, and we look forward to many years with Duke.

Hi again! I've been running around so much, I thought I'd take a minute out of my busy schedule and let you know what I've been up to!

I'm learning how to tell the big dog I want to play. Usually she gets the hint and starts to play with me! I attached some pics so you can see!

Koda and Bailey

Also, I've been grabbing toys and playing with them on my own lately. FM keeps giving me "the look" after I conquer some of the heavy, weird-shaped, smelly objects...Something about they're for feet, not mouths? I don't know. So, I shared one of those pics too!

Alright, it's so nice out, we get to go out and romp around in the sunshine.

Kisses!

Hey guys! It's me again! KODA. My mom has been calling me Koda Bear a lot...and I like that! Also, she calls me booger. That's pretty fun too! (and true! I still have boogers on my nose!).

As you can see in the pictures, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the bunny here! She's as big as me and she likes to chase! She reminds me of my brothers and sister!

I don't want to brag to FM, but I already got the hang of this silly "sit" word. She thinks it's all her, but we all know it's me! And like my siblings, I too am really starting to come out of my shell with playing! I also am a pro with house-training. Like Luca, I had one accident in the house, and FM and FD admit it was TOTALLY their fault! They were walking toward me to take me out and I was three steps ahead of them (I was already peeing!).

So, more to come when I go back to the vet. I'm just happy with all the snuggles and praise! It really makes my day when I see them smile at me, tussle my spiky hair-do and make that squeaky noise with their mouths!

Hugs and Kisses!
XOXO
