Ellie Mae has arrived today at her new foster home. She is a beautiful one year, 4 mo old PB golden who is a dark color with very glossy fur. She met foster sis Maren and foster bro Yosi well, as well as the four cats. She appears very calm and learned to adapt to the Gentle Leader by block 2!! She appears to be very calm and has spent much of her life as an outdoor dog so we will be sending updates the next few days as to how she is adapting to indoor life. No accidents so far!! She came with great vet records and is up to date but needs to be spayed and micro-chipped. She has been with her original family since she was six weeks old. She was obviously well loved and cared for.

Beautiful Miss Ellie Mae has headed north to be a Minnesota girl. She was adopted today by the B family and will have a new mom and dad, two little people and golden bro, Zeus, a former RAGOM dog to keep her company. Congratulations to Ellie Belle and her new family.

Ellie Mae has recovered very nicely from her No-Momma surgery. She shows no side effects and has continued regular play with resident GR Maren. Not sure about this, but I believe she smiled when the last seconds of the game clock ticked off and she knew Iowa beat Wisconsin today.

She loves attention. Will even stand around close while doing weekend cleaning in the bathroom. Is one of best ever on the "Gentle Leader". She has become very accustomed to other noises which used to bother her and does very well when meeting strange/neighbor dogs on walks.

Ellie does very well sleeping in unlocked, open door kennel at night. It is her favorite spot to sleep, cuddling up against the blanket which SO sent with her. She appears totally house broken, letting us know when she wants out and when she wants in.
