Emily is doing fantastic! She is a joy to have around. I thought it would be overwhelming w/ four dogs, but they move like a train J. Emily is either at the beginning of the line if she is coming toward me, or the end if I am not in sight. She is still a bit cautious. She isn’t a Velcro dog – but does like to be near me or have me in sight. She loves her brother Tristan 11-319, playing outside, and comes immediately when called and ALWAYS gives kisses when she gets near me. I give them too of course. She loves to sit in my lap –and is very light and petite.
She is kenneled just at night with her brother. That being said, I left my resident Remi, Emily and Tristan while I ran to Kwik Trip for 10 minutes today and while gone “they” enjoyed my lunch from the counter. Counter surfers??? After they had a “wonderful” breakfast?? Was it a three way split?
I don’t believe she has had an accident since the first day. She holds her bladder FOREVER. It does take a bit of time outside for her to potty. I need to try her on a leash to potty, but I have too many pups that get jealous and I haven’t figured out how to walk four at a time J. She doesn’t make a peep in the car – but does vomit most times. She rides in the back w/ her brother Tristan where I can’t see them too well and I think they are nervous. I think if she was on my lap – or next to me she would be fine.
She still has the sore on her left paw pad that I put ointment on – Vet says it will take a few weeks to heal. She will run and run – but then all of a sudden remembers it hurts. She never cries or whines. Always happy and loving.
Emily’s forever home: kids are fine; she is very petite and gentle. Don’t know about cats. Fence is not necessary – she is not a runner. Don’t think a crate is necessary – just not totally positive she is completely potty trained. She is fine with or without another dog – although I think she would like to have one as she has been with many all while growing up. She likes to jump up on the couch to sit with me or sleep (as do all my dogs). She really just needs a family with lots of forever love, kisses and hugs!
