Profile

Hello everyone please meet Magnum. Mag is a big puppy who just turned 1 on April 1st. He is a big blonde boy with a big blocky head, black nose and perfect black eyeliner. He is UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative and neutered. He is currently sporting a summer shave as his coat was so matted. Magnum was an outside dog who is adjusting to indoor life. He has never had any accidents in the house and doesn't make a peep in his crate. He gets along with our dogs, cats, parrots, and most importantly he really loves our 3 year old child.

Magnum came in to RAGOM with his Tibia broken into 5 pieces and is currently on restricted activity and in a splint.

Right now Magnum kinda just sits in the corner and watches the world go by. He doesn't understand the house, the kitchen floor is scary, he doesn't know how to walk on a leash without getting tangled up, he doesn't understand what it means when you call his name, he doesn't know what toys are. He is slowly learning that people are fun and and what it means to sit and to come, but he will get here. He is really starting to love to lay by the couch and have people rub his belly. His only bad habit is that he will chew a children toy left on the floor. He is such a great boy who is learning what it is like to be part of the family.

It will be 5-6 weeks before Magnum is ready to be adopted. We will update more as we get to know the handsome boy!

Hello- I am sad to report that RAGOM dog Magnum 09-197 passed away on Wednesday 11/4/20. He was Fred to us after we adopted him on July 27, 2009. He became a perfect family dog after a little dog training with a professional.

He was the best friend of our youngest daughter. He was a very loyal companion, loving, happy, great walker, and all around amazing golden.

Thanks so much for rescuing him and allowing us to love him for the last 12 years.
