Meet Freebo,

Freebo came to us a week ago and has settled in quite nicely in our home. She is a "BIG" girl that is about 15-20 pounds overweight. She was found as a stray and the vet estimated that she is around 8 years old. She has some signs of arthritis in her back legs. The vet feels this will inprove with weight loss and exercise. So Freebo is officially on a diet and is getting walks daily. She loves her walks and will wait by the door as you get your outdoor gear on.

Freebo went to the beauty shop and had a makeover. She now is very soft and smells great. They had to cut out some mats around her legs and backside but now looks really good and she seems much happier with them gone. She is spayed and is in good health other than the weight issues.

Freebo gets along good with cats and dogs of all sizes.

We have not tested her with young kids yet, but I don't expect it will be a problem. She is a very laid back girl, she is content to hang out on the floor anywhere people may be. She does not beg at the table and does not guard her food, in fact our resident little dog will steal her food and she just looks at him. Since she was found as a stray we feel a home with a fenced yard will be best for Freebo so that she does not wander away.

If you would like to meet this "Golden Girl" let your placement advisor know.
