Hello Everyone! George and Gracie here.
Gracie: We have to tell you, we've had quite an exciting day. First off, foster mom made George his fancy breakfast so he can gain the weight he needs. I'm watching my weight so I just went for a swim in the kiddie pool.
Gracie: Then foster mom asked us if we wanted to go for a ride in the car. She said something about checking out a retirement home. We drove and drove and ended up getting pretty tired so George and I snoozed. We woke right up when foster mom stopped the car. We jumped right out of the car and there were lots of trees and woods and lots of new smells.
Gracie: And, wouldn't you know it, out of the house comes our old buddy, Cody.
Cody welcomed us with happy tail wags and told us all about his new digs and asked if we'd like a tour. He took us through the yard to some steps. George didn't really care for the steps so Cody told him about the trail he could use that ran right next to the steps.
Gracie: All of a sudden, there it was... a huge swimming pool! I couldn't get into the water fast enough. George took a little longer, but he wasn't far behind. And then, if that wasn't cool enough, tennis balls started flying through the air. George ran after the ones thrown from shore, but I preferred to perfect my belly flop off the end of the dock, so I chased the ones that went flying high through the air.
George: We spent a lot of time visiting at the swimming pool and then it was time to go into the residence part to take a look around. Cody offered Gracie and I refreshments and bones to chew on. After taking the inside tour, Cody mentioned that he REALLY enjoyed his home and that if Gracie and I were interested in staying, he had a couple of empty dog beds that we could have. He told us that he was kind of lonely since his Brookie
crossed the Rainbow Bridge in June.
Gracie: George and I talked it over with each other and with foster mom and came to the conclusion that this was definitely the place that we wanted to spend the rest of our days. Not only would we have our buddy, Cody, but George could fish for minnows all day if he wanted to - and I would be welcome to dig all the holes I want to.
George: I don't know if she knows that I know, but she buries bones in those holes. I'm not sure what she's saving them for.... I guess it's just her "thing". She doesn't let me get too close to those buried bones though. Gracie will also be able to do her water aerobics so that she can get trim again.
Gracie: You just had to bring that weight thing up again, George, didn't you?!?! ?! Good-night George...
George: Good-night Gracie....

This is George and Gracie's foster mom - I just want to thank RAGOM (and Tamra, George's former foster) for giving me the opportunity to foster these two wonderful souls. I'm absolutely thrilled that they found Tim and Cody to spend their lives with. I couldn't have asked for a better environment for my sweet fosters to thrive in. Gracie is going to keep those boys on their paws!!!
