George 07-640

Profile

George and his half-sister have come to RAGOM from a loving home due to the family's situation.

He is a two year old neutered golden weighing 79 pounds, and a tall boy. The vet says his weight is good for his build, but we don't want him to 'fatten up'.

George loves to wrestle with his sister, get hugs and play with toys. He is house trained and goes into his crate nicely. He knows some basic commands, and often comes when called while playing outside.

George is curious about our cats, and chases them some. However, he walks away when our male cat tells him to! Both George and his sister love to play and run in our fenced yard forever, and a fenced yard would be best for him. He is an absolute 'love-bug', wanting pets and hugs all the time, and giving kisses. George loves to snuggle up beside us on the couch, and wants to put his paw on whoever is beside him. Whenever George is getting hugs, his sister comes up and hugs him!

George gets along great with our resident shepherd and our older foster pup.

George is more independent of his sister, but if she can't find him, she becomes very anxious. And at this point, we feel it would be best to keep them together forever. We'll continue to evaluate their needs.

Here are some pictures of George and his sister. George has the cutest front paws. They look like they were gently dipped in white paint!

Lucy and George have found their forever home together, where they will live with their german shepherd sister and two cats.

They are all so happy playing in the yard together, romping and wrestling. We're glad Lucy has a fenced yard, as she has a strong prey drive; and caught a rabbit that ventured into the fenced yard. She ran and ran with the bunny in her mouth, and after much coaxing and a great bribe, she dropped it! The rabbit was paws up when we returned into the house, but a few hours later had disappeared. That must be why they call rabbits "lucky", because this one certainly was lucky.
