10/14/06: A litter of 6-week-old pups arrived in Minnesota from Missouri on October 7, 2006. Their Mom is a Golden mix--looks Golden but on the small side. Daddy is unknown, but boy, the puppies sure are cute.

Today the eight puppies are 7 weeks old and on the road to good health. They were born outside, so they do have parasites we are treating. We are also working on getting their young digestive tracts in proper working order. They are starting to get active and we are beginning to see their individual personalities emerge. In the next few days I will do individual updates, and hopefully these sweeties will be back to good health and ready to find forever homes in a couple of weeks! More pics to come.

Ginger is the smallest one of the puppy bunch but she has enough liveliness to make up for it! She loves to play with other dogs, she is not afraid of anything and she loves people. She always wants to come out and play with you when her siblings are resting and she loves giving you kisses.

Ginger weighs 5.9 pounds and has had her second set of puppy shots as well as a follow up worming and the Vet also micro-chipped her.

She comes when she's called with, "Puppy, puppy!" and is a crazy fast runner. She doesn't mind taking on the boys and our own Golden. She has the most adorable coloring and her face is irresistible. She chews on everything, as all puppies do, so needs to have lots of chew toys around. She really loves to play with your ankles when you're trying to get around the kitchen. She's sweet and playful and she loves cuddling with puppies and people alike.
