Hi everyone, it's me Ginger!  I just wanted to tell you that I have been Adopted! I now have my own family and I'm very happy! My new mom and dad love me so much and I have a golden doodle  brother and a golden retriever sister.  My new sister likes to give me kisses!

My new family said I get to go to Goldzilla next month and it sounds super exciting! I can't wait to see what this RAGOM is all about. I am thankful for RAGOM because they helped me find my new home! I will never have to move again!

Wuff You!,

Miss Ginger has made herself right at home.  She has adjusted very well and seems happy.

Ginger's likes:

  • Food
  • Naps
  • Squeaky toys
  • Lots of love
  • Walks

Ginger's dislikes:

She does not like to be left alone, she has some separation anxiety.  She tries her hardest to get out the door with us if we leave.  Ginger requires someone to be home most of the time.

Ginger does not like going on furniture, I believe she was not allowed on furniture her first 13 years of her life.  We have lifted her onto the couch and she got very nervous and jumped right down and acted like she was in trouble.

Miss Ginger came to us 2 1/2 weeks ago. She lived in South Dakota and now Minnesota. Ginger is a very young 13 year old beautiful, sweet Golden Retriever.

I was concerned that at her age she would have a hard time adjusting to a new home but she has done wonderfully. We have a 14 year old Golden Doodle and an almost 10 year old Golden Retriever. She is fitting in very well with our senior dogs.

I am a dog groomer and my shop is in our home. Ginger loves to greet my customers for some petting and gets along great with all the dogs that come for grooming. She is a social butterfly!

Ginger had her wellness exam at our vet and she did super! She passed all her tests with flying colors. She does have many fatty tumors and some arthritis. She has allergies and is on medication and it's under control.

Ginger does not have any storm anxieties and is a very laid back girl. She likes to play with squeaky toys and rope toys. When she gets excited she does a little skipping which is adorable!
