Goldie 07-675

Profile

Goldie is a pure-bred spayed female. She is going to the vet to get up-to-date on her shots. Goldie is an owner surrender because she was chasing the neighbor's cats and chickens. She has a very strong drive to chase small animals. She walks well on the lead until she sees something she wants to chase. She does well with other dogs that are her size or larger. Goldie runs free when we are home, and at night. She has had no accidents. She is a little timid and scares easily. She loves to be petted and will get your attention by gently placing her paw on your lap. She is treat motivated and has learned sit. She was a very easy foster for us. If it were not for the traveling we have ahead, we would keep her as a foster. As such she is going to boarding. Won't you invite this angel into your home for the holidays?

Hi,

Here is an update on Goldie 07-675 who we adopted last December.

Previously an outside dog Goldie has really adapted to a family and living inside. She loves to watch TV (even sports) and sleeps on the stairs-so she is in the middle of everything. She likes to cuddle with her human brother and tolerates her human sister who at 4 is a little rough. Goldie is still learning to play but loves tug of war, chasing balls, and running around the yard. She has been a wonderful addition to our family - we could not have imagined a more perfect dog!!

Goldie has been with us for three days and is doing really well. She is such a little sweetheart! She sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom and thoroughly enjoys the comforts of a warm home! No more garages for this little princess! Goldie is so quiet and calm we hardly know she¹s around! We baby gated her in the kitchen while we were at work today and she was just fine.

Our sweet Goldie Girl is learning how to play. I guess she didn¹t have much time for games as a busy farm dog. Goldie is discovering that it is okay to chase balls. She chose a yellow rubber ball to call her own and sat in the snow chewing it for a long time today. At one point she threw it in the air and looked delighted with her new toy! Goldie is starting to relax while playing out in the yard and runs around with her ears flying in the wind. She looks so cute when she jumps into the air and does a little jig.

The vet said Goldie is very healthy and only weighs 65 lbs. She was a good girl for her exam today. Goldie was somewhat shy when she met the staff at the doctor's office but by the time we left she was giving everyone gentle little kisses.

The perfect forever home for Goldie will be a family who is willing to give her all the love and attention that she needs and will teach her how to play and enjoy life. Goldie has a gentle spirit that needs nurturing and unconditional love. She also needs a soft spoken leader to help her gain confidence and trust as she matures. Goldie will make some lucky family a devoted companion. Thank you RAGOM for rescuing this beautiful girl!
