Hi Everyone,

Gordo' here. Well, I made it to Alexandria with the help of a lot of good new friends. My new fosters learned very quickly that I am smart and I do not know my name. Why you ask? Well, these guys gave me a bath after church and decided that I was so sweet, that I could have the run of the upper floor of the house. Much to their surprise, I showed them how I could open a screened door and out I went. I think they were calling me, but I wanted to see the new 'digs' and meet the neighborhood dogs. After a few minutes, I let them give me a love, treat, and put the lead on. The rest of the day, I have been on a lead, eating a lot, and just getting to know these people.

These new fosters do not know a lot about me. They know I am a stray from southern Iowa, I have been vet checked, I ride well in cars, I have gotten along great with the foster kids and foster sister Hanna, and that I am 57lbs. They say that is way to thin for a dog like me. They quickly discovered that I am a snuggler. This afternoon, after a long play time, we went in to watch a movie. I curled up and fell asleep.
