What a difference a week makes! Grace has transformed into a calm, happy dog. She doesn't bark any longer, unless the resident dogs bark. Her whole demeanor is soft and gentle; a great big puppy puffball (although I haven't noticed an excess of shedding, just gray fuzz on the floor once in a while so far), who loves to play!
Grace is completely housetrained and does not chew on anything. She gets along well with all dogs, adults and kids. She walks and jogs fine on a leash. She does not resource guard her food. She just needs someone to give her regular exercise and a whole lot of attention.
Grace went to see the vet for her pre-spay exam last week, weighing in at 60 pounds. The vet said Grace is a perfect dog -- excellent health and temperament, and would make a good therapy dog. Grace is scheduled for her spay on January 25th, and then could go home with a furever family, just let us know if you think she may be a match for you.
