Gus 09-334

Profile

Gus arrived at his fosterhome on 8-6-09.  He is a 1 yr old PB,,neutered male.  He is a dark golden red and approximately 60lbs, microchipped and current on his vaccinations.

Gus is an active boy and very playful.  He loves to play ball.  He gets so excited when he is waiting for you to throw the ball that he starts to shake in anticipation.

He is very curious and loves to check things out around the house.  He hasn't really gotten into anything that he shouldn't but has checked out what's on the kitchen counter.  We have two resident counter surfers so there wasn't anything of interest for him and I haven't seen him do it again.

Gus does occassionally bark at people when they walk by.  He started this a few days after we got him.  I'm not sure if this was a habit of his or if he is just following the lead of one of our dogs.

Gus sleeps quietly in his kennel all night without a peep.  He is housetrained.  He was trained to invisible fencing and spent alot of time outside.   We have taken him on daily walks and he does pretty good on the leash.  The first block or two he wants to race again but settles down after that.  We think he would make a good walking or jogging partner.

If you are looking for a wonderful, active dog to keep you company Gus just may be the dog for you!    If you are interested please contact your placement advisor.
