Gus 13-359

Profile

11/10/2013:

Welcome Gus to the RAGOM family! Gus is one of 7 puppies from Hannah 13-349 that came in from a breeder who loved his dogs. Gus was born October 5, 2013 so is 5 weeks old now. He is a very healthy, active puppy learning all about life. Gus went to the vet and has been wormed. He will get his first set of shots at 6 weeks and be neutered at 8 weeks.

Gus is one of the smaller boys but he doesn't let his size stop him from wrestling with his bigger siblings! Gus is the first of the puppies to go to the door, paw it and when let out did his business and came running back in. Good boy Gus!

Gus will be ready for adoption around the first week in December. He can entertain potential families at any time.

Please remember as you look at his adorable pictures:

  • Puppies are a LOT of work in their first year!
  • Puppies have a small, immature bladder and cannot go a full work day without being let out. You will need to make arrangements for someone to come in midday until he is about 6 months old.
  • Puppies NEED obedience, socialization and manners training! RAGOM gets many  unmannered and undersocialized dogs surrendered due to the simple lack of training and socialization when the puppy was young. This is a crucial time for puppies to learn about so many things!

Gus has a new forever family! They have waited patiently for him and drove 7 hours to meet him and bring him home with them. The M family are previous RAGOM adopters and Gus has big shoes to fill in the memory of Sid 01-085. But he has already captured their hearts.

Thank you so much for adopting through RAGOM again, M family!
