Gypsy/Callie 00-082

Profile

February 2000:

Callie (aka Gypsy) is an approximately 2-3 year old female stray brought in by animal control in SD. She has a wonderful, easy going 'I love everyone temperament' and gets along well with other dogs, not sure about cats. She knows "sit", "down", and a long stay. She is okay on a leash - doesn't pull but doesn't heel. She is housebroken and listens well. She is in great health. Her looks and temperament are wonderful and she is smart as a whip! Crates and kennels easily and jumps in and out of her foster family's truck like a pro! She is fostering with teenage kids and does well with them.

Adopted in March 2000!!

We adopted Gypsy (Ragom name was Callie) on St. Patrick's day of 2000. We were told she was a stray who was found in South Dakota and was approximately 2-3yrs old.

We picked her up from Jane's home. I had asked for a small golden. When she came out of the crate she just kept coming and coming. Jane's wise words were "a 90-pound calm one is better than a hyper 50-pound one. If you don't take her you are nuts! " We figured she knew what she was talking about and took her home.

We were newlyweds and she was our first baby. Then later, the protector of our two kids. Thank you for 12 wonderful years with the "The Best Dog Ever".

She lived a great life, was a wonderful companion and will be missed forever.

Sincerely,
Scott & Trisha G.
