Isaac arrived this weekend after being found as a stray in Iowa. He is a bundle of wonderful puppy affection and playfulness, and is a dream foster dog! Issac is a GR mix, and I wish I could get a better picture so you could see how handsome he is.
He is 2 years old, healthy, neutered and current on his vaccinations. Isaac just arrived so we are getting to know him, but so far he seems to be potty trained, LOVES other dogs, plays really well with our resident girl Mia, and adores children. Very sweet, affectionate dog. The only things we are working on are walking on a leash, and basic obedience. We walked this morning with a gentle leader (Isaac has a different name for it J) and he was not pleased. About 10 minutes into our walk he accepted the darn thing and enjoyed the rest of the walk. He slept on a dog bed in my bedroom last night and woke me with puppy kisses this morning. I’ll write more as we get to know him. Isaac went home with his forever home today. His new name is Hayden, and he is now a member of the Brittany and Nate S. family including fur brother Chewy. Hayden and Chewy are already great buds and Hayden is going to live a very happy and spoiled life!
Quick update on Isaac….he is doing great! He is a very playful, affectionate dog. Isaac and Mia play in the back yard, and he LOVES playing with my kids and crawling in their lap for oodles of cuddling and affection. He is making great progress on walking, and we continue to work on his obedience training. Isaac is like a beautiful puppy without any of the difficult puppy traits!
