Profile

Hope came into RAGOM from the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society after being adopted and returned twice—which is hard to believe, because she is a wonderful dog. She is young, so she does have lots of energy and will need considerable exercise and mental stimulation. But she is housetrained, gets along with other dogs and with cats, she can live with children, and a physical fence is optional.

Hope has been adopted by a wonderful family!

She will have three fur siblings and a large fenced yard with lots of squirrels and rabbits. Her new mom works at home, so Hope will have someone to provide plenty of supervision and stimulation during the day. Plus, her new mom is a runner, so Hope will get plenty of exercise.

We wish Hope many happy years with her new family!

Please welcome Hope to the RAGOM family! Hope is a gorgeous cream Golden Retriever. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Yesterday, Hope went to the veterinarian for a checkup that included fecal and heartworm tests. The fecal exam revealed a coccidia infection, which is easily treated with seven days of Albon. Otherwise, she is in excellent health, and her weight is perfect at 69 pounds.

Hope is settling into our home nicely. She is housetrained and gets along great with the resident dogs and cats. Hope is very gentle, and she loves to give hugs and kisses.

She is an energetic and curious dog who needs lots of exercise and stimulation. Hope loves going for walks and would make an awesome running buddy. She also loves chasing squirrels and rabbits.

Hope is a powerful chewer, and the heavy-duty Kong products work well for her. And like many young dogs, Hope requires supervision or she might chew something inappropriate.

She is crate trained and loves car rides. Hope would do well in just about any type of home as long as she gets plenty of exercise and guidance.
