11/10/2013:
Welcome Elliot to the RAGOM family! Elliot is one of 7 puppies from Hannah 13-349 that came in from a breeder who loved his dogs. Elliot was born October 5, 2013, so is 5 weeks old now. He is a very healthy, active puppy learning all about life. Elliot went to the vet and has been wormed. He will get his first set of shots at 6 weeks and be neutered at 8 weeks.
Elliot is the smallest of the puppies and his brother Tank outweighed him by 2 pounds! I always make sure Elliot gets his share of the food and he shows no difference in terms of energy or playfullness. He can wrestle with the big dogs! He is a real snuggler and hard not to fall in love with.
Elliot will be ready for adoption around the first week in December. He can entertain potential families at any time.
Please remember as you look at his adorable pictures:
- Puppies are a LOT of work in their first year!
- Puppies have a small, immature bladder and cannot go a full work day without being let out. You will need to make arrangements for someone to come in midday until he is about 6 months old.
- Puppies NEED obedience, socialization and manners training! RAGOM gets many unmannered and undersocialized dogs surrendered due to the simple lack of training and socialization when the puppy was young. This is a crucial time for puppies to learn about so many things!
