Jake 04-355

Profile

2/26/07 - Jake is 2.5 years old and 82 lbs of love and energy! He is neutered, healthy, and up to date on all his shots. He was adopted from RAGOM as a puppy, and even though his surrendering family loves him very much, they were not able to give Jake the time and attention he deserves. Jake is good with kids and gets along well with cats and other dogs. He is housetrained, crate trained, and he respects baby gates.

Jake came to my house at the height of the snow storm on Saturday. He loves playing in the snow - I had a hard time getting a picture of him because he didn't want to sit still for a second! Jake is the only animal at my house, and he has been very well behaved in the house. He is very inquisitive, but he hasn't touched anything he shouldn't touch - he doesn't countersurf or get in the trash. Jake does need his obedience training reinforced - he will sit or lay down on command but doesn't stay; we are working on that. Jake loves to go for walks but he tends to pull at first - which is another thing we are working on. He lets you know when he needs to go outside and he goes into his crate without any trouble.

Jake is a very handsome boy and it is obvious that he has been well cared for. He has so much love to give and will be a great companion for the family who has the time, love, and attention to give Jake in return.
