Jake has arrived in Hartley, Iowa and what a big boy! In the first day it is true he does like to counter surf (almost lost my supper) and we will be working on that. He is very smart, he has learned how to open the garbage can to get to what ever smells good in there. He pulls on the leash and likes to smell everything on the walk so I might try the Gentle Leader to see if we can get him walking better. He loves to play tug a war with his toys but stops when you want to. Jake has a vet appointment next week which should be easy on him as he is already microchipped and UTD on some shots. His previous home he was use to an invisible fence but if he broke through it he was running. No health issues currently but has had hot spots a few years ago. He gets along with kids but doesn't know about cats yet. Will get more out as we get to know him.
