Say hello to this handsome young man, Jake! Jake is about 14 months old and such a sweetie! Jake came into RAGOM with a broken leg. (Jake was hit by a car and picked up by a wonderful person who got him into RAGOM's care!) Fortunately, the kind doctors at RAGOM patched him up and now he is with me. He needs to remain pretty mellow for the next 5 weeks. We are not able to take walks at this time yet and his activity is restricted to bathroom breaks outside, or outside on a short lead if I am with him.
He has adjusted wonderfully to life at my house! He has not had one single accident! He is a very happy dog; I can tell he would love to be more active already....but we do have doctor's orders! He gets along well with my resident cat. This past weekend, he stayed with another RAGOM volunteer and he did very well with their resident dog. He did bark initially, but once he was face to face with Allie (resident dog), he was totally fine...tails wagging and sniffs all around. Jake knows the words treat, outside, sit and I think down too, but I don't want to push it at this time. He is very mellow and loves to be by my side. He is an excellent size too. He weights about 50 pounds...not too small and not too big! Perfect!
He has been very easy going and would make an excellent pet for a lucky family...or single person!
Please contact RAGOM with any questions you have about this wonderful, loving dog, Jake!
