7/31/05: Woof - my name is Jasmine and I really want to find a forever home. I came to Oxford, Iowa from a shelter. I loved my ride in the car and when we stopped I decided I wanted to drive. Janet was very surprised when she came back to the car and saw me in the driver's seat! I could do it, I am sure! I am now living with 2 very yappy Dachshunds and 2 very friendly cats. I get along well with everyone. I am so happy to have the chance to be outside a lot. It is so much better than in a cage! I love to play and run and I know I would like a family with children who would play with me. I really like toys a lot and make anything a toy! I am very careful though and have not hurt anything. I am great in the house and have had no accidents. Unfortunately, as you can see from my photos, I also like to eat. I think with all the exercise I get here, I will lose those extra pounds quickly. I also had a haircut before I left my last home so I look a bit like a fuzzy yellow Lab. But I am every bit a Golden Retriever. If you bring me a tennis ball I will show you!
