Hi Everyone! Meet Jasper! He is a 5.5 year old lovable (BIG) sweetheart! (He weighs in at approx. 85 lbs!)

If you like swimming, throwing sticks and tennis balls, Jasper is YOUR guy! He is a beautiful light golden color and he is freshly groomed! He is getting a little white on his muzzle and around his eyes, but this guy has plenty of life and love left to give!

He is fully UTD on shots and will be microchipped this Monday 2/9. After that, he'll be ready for his forever home!

A few things we know so far:

He's great with kids of all ages.
He knows sit and shake and will lay down.
He was only crated as a puppy, but hasn't needed one since.
He hasn't been on a leash a lot, because he had free roam of his yard as well as a couple neighboring yards; So, we'll work on that!
We would LOVE for him to go to a home on a lake or a family that can spend LOTS of time with him at the cabin on the lake (Or you have a nice pool he can swim in!). Swimming is his #1 LOVE in life!
He does like to chase rabbits and squirrels and would probably chase cats, but (probably) wouldn't hurt one! (At least, he never has in his 5.5 years!)

From Jasper's forever family...

Hello! My name is Keri S. My family and I adopted Jasper just a few weeks ago. And I have to say he's a part of the family already! We are so glad we ended up adopting from RAGOM. We've always known that we wanted a golden retriever, well really who wouldn't? I have to be honest at the beginning it was quite frustrating to watch the web site all the time. As soon as we found a dog we liked and put in a request to see him/her, it seemed they were already working with a family. Or the dog wasn't available for us for various reasons. We met one dog before Jasper, and although he was sweet...he just didn't feel like OUR dog. So we waited and hoped we didn't miss out on a great dog. And then the next weekend we met Jasper. And we knew instantly that he was the dog for our family. We appreciate so much what Ragom does for families and dogs alike. Jasper is definitely worth his weight in gold as a dog...and he's not a small golden! Anyways I sent some pictures along to show you how happy we all are! :)

Thanks again for all your support and encouragement along the way! Jasper was worth the wait!
