Jaynee (Four 08-108)

Welcome to RAGOM Four! I have been calling her lots of names to find the right fit... 4 just doesn't due a pretty little gal like this justice! 4 is an 8 month old PB, female golden retriever who is sweet as pie and cute, Cute, CUTE!! I am in LOVE already and it has been about an hour :) 4 was surrendered to RAGOM by a loving family who just could not keep up with a puppy, and decided it was best to surrender her to RAGOM. 4 knows the basic commands, and is a pretty mellow pup from what I have seen so far! She is spayed and UTD, and weights about 45 lbs (if that!). She is pretty tiny. I have a lot to learn about her and will update more and more in the coming days! She is very sweet, a velcro girl for sure.  Also, skittish and shy, so we will have to slowly expose her to new things and teach her that new can be FUN! She met our three dogs Bella, Gracie (goldens!) and Tini (yorkie) with no problems at all! She is snuggled up as close to me as she can get right now and is sure to keep me warm on this chilly night! Thanks for reading up on our brand new foster girl! Stay tuned :-) Better pictures and more updates coming soon!

Jaynee has found her forever family :) They met tonight and it was immediately obvious that Pam and Mike were the ones for Jaynee... and she was the one for them! We have found that Jaynee has been a little shy meeting new people... but, not tonight! She snuggled right in for pets and love and even tried to go home with them tonight :)

We will finalize the adoption tomorrow. I have one more night with my snuggle bug and plan to take full advantage :) It is amazing how in one week a sweet, quiet little dog can make such an impact on a foster mom. But, she has done just that, it's official! YAY for Jaynee!

Ms. Jaynee went to the vet today so I thought I would sent in a quick update to let everyone know she did GREAT! Jaynee weighed in at 47 lbs! I was shocked. She looks 10lbs. lighter than that to me. The good news is that she is at a good, healthy weight. She could gain a pound or two... so we are going to increase her food a bit only because she is getting so much exercise here with us. She is very healthy and was perfectly well behaved at the vets office. EVERYONE loved her there! She even got to go and explore the back with the vet when they went back to run her HW test... which was neg :) YAY!!! We also did another dog park trip today. Jaynee was on a long line again and I kept testing her recall... it is excellent!!!! She stops on a dime when I call her name and runs back to me, every time. What a good girl!! She is such an awesome girl. She is playful, but not hyper... and soooooo loving and cuddly I am so in love with her! She is one of those dogs that is so grateful acting... she looks at you with those big brown eyes and says thank you... all the time! Even if it is just for letting her curl up next to you on the couch. She doesn't ask for much, but you want to give her everything because she is so darn sweet!Jaynee is funny when she has a ball or a toy in her mouth.... she runs around and makes this growly, whiny like noise... it's not that she is growling... it is that she is so excited she can hardly stand it! She needs to tell everyone all about it! It makes me laugh every time! Thanks for reading up on Jaynee girl! Email placementatragom [dot] org if you want to meet her!

Hello Jaynee fans! Thanks for checking in on this sweet puppy! She is doing GREAT :) We having been having a blast with this adorable girl and know we better love her up because she probably won't be in foster care for long! Good for Jaynee... sad for us : (

We took a trip to the dog park on Friday evening. We had Jaynee on a long line and she just loved every minute of it. She was very social and happy and met all of the dogs and many people all with a smile on her face! She can sure RUN! She would make a wonderful jogging or walking partner for someone! Not only is she fast.... she has major endurance! Her energy level is really great though... she is spunky and fun but not crazy and hyper. A large amount of daily exercise is a MUST for this girl in her forever home! She only pulls a little bit on a leash and I think with good
consistent training she would walk perfectly in no time.

Jaynee is a very good girl for an 8 month old pup! She is about 90% potty trained, she did have one accident but it was my fault I didn't let her out in time. She picks up things that aren't suppose to be left around on the floor occasionally, and would probably chew if given the chance. Although, we did give her free roam today for about 2 hours and she was perfect. She is also getting better at night. She takes a little while to settle in, but is happiest when she can snuggle with me in bed and be as close as possible. She knows sit, come, down, and shake! She also goes potty on command! (Maybe she can teach my "girls"!)

Her perfect forever home would include: Lots and lots of love :)  She needs her confidence built up a little bit and really wants to please! She also loves to follow me from room to room so someone that wouldn't mind a velcro girl :) Older children or no children would be best, she is very scared by loud noises and fast movements and I think little kids would be way too much for her. She will need a family that wants to work with a young puppy and train her to be the best golden she can be! Also, she loves to snuggle up with us on the couch or the bed, so it would be best if this was allowed in her forever home as well! She is such a cuddle bug! What's not to LOVE! Also, she has the longest eye lashes I have ever seen... so cute!

We have a wellness check scheduled for Tuesday, I am assuming she will check out just fine. Except maybe she needs to fatten up a bit... we'll take care of that no problem! (Gosh, that would be a GREAT thing to hear from my doctor! :))
