Jenny 07-558

Profile

Welcome to RAGOM Jenny! Wow what a wonderful little girl.  She is a short little girl, but weighed in at 60 pounds.  Jenny needs to be underfoot at all times.  If we go anywhere Jenny is sure to follow you and make sure she gets in front of you, so you trip over her.  So we have to be really careful.  Jenny gets along wonderful with the Two Newfoundland’s and also our RAGOM Sophee.

It is my understanding that Jenny came in with the group of Puppy Mill dogs that came in on Sunday from MO.  I don’t know the whole story, but I am sure we will find out in the days to come.

Jenny is up for adoption, however, she needs to go in for an Ultra Sound on Monday to find out if she is going to have puppies.  Yea you heard me, according to the vet, she may be pregnant.   So keep watching and let’s get this wonder bug adopted if possible.

More tomorrow on how our evening goes with Ms. Jenny, the most polite and friendly dog around.

Jenny is doing great and continues to get in front of us as much as possible to make sure she gets her fair share of love.  Jenny has not figured out she has to keep her feet on the floor at all times, but will learn this in the future.  She sits down and she wraps her front paws around your legs to make sure you can not move.  It’s really cute at times.

Jenny will sleep in a crate or sleeps in our bed room with out any problems during the night.  She settles down very quickly once everyone is in bed.  Jenny seems to be potty trained since she has had no accidents in the house.  However, we are being very diligent on going outside at regular intervolves.  We are having a problem getting her to eat, so I made her some hamburger and rice and started adding that to her food and she is eating great now.  I just felt that because we do not know about her pregnancy status, I felt it was important to make sure she keeps eating.

Tonight Jenny is getting another bath, she is pretty clean, but she seems to be very itchy from dry skin so we are going to use a good medicated shampoo and that will hopefully give her some relief.

Jenny has one callus on her elbow from her hard concrete floor that she lived on.  You can see that in one of her pictures.  The callus causes her no pain; it is just a place where she will never get any hair.

Come Meet Jenny at the RAGOM picnic, she will be there with ADOPTED Ragom Dog Sophee.
