Profile

Jinger has been at my house for a little over 24 hours. She met my 2 male Goldens in the yard without a growl, she met my cat at the door and almost decided to make a run for it, but did decide to come in. She is small, I'd estimate around 50 pounds, medium dark red with a nice coat. She had a bath, brushings and some trimming done today and she was very tolerant, even when I worked on some matts. I haven't attempted to trim her nails yet as I didn't want to drive her crazy on her first day here. We had a bad storm around noon and she couldn't have cared less. She is a very sweet dog and so far I haven't had a single problem with her. She was adopted in early 2001 and was returned to RAGOM this past Friday as a seven year old...because her family no longer had time for her. She is already up to date on her shots and had a heartworm test this past April. We will visit the vet next week but since she has been vetted recently I don't need to rush in. She came to RAGOM already eating an excellent brand of food - Eagle Pack - so her diet since 2001 has been very good...I bought some more today so she can continue to eat her familiar brand of food. So far she has been an absolutely perfect house guest; she has been quiet and I think a little intimidated by her unfamiliar surroundings. I will write more updates as she becomes more comfortable and I get to know more about her.
