JoJo 09-045

Profile

Hi, I am JoJo and I am a 2 year old Golden Retriever mix. I weigh about 55 pounds and I am a very friendly Girl. As you can see from my photos I am jet black with a white stripe on my chest. I also have a pin in my right rear leg that makes that leg not be able to bend, it does not cause me any pain and does not slow me down. I get along just fine, I even can get up and down stairs just like it wasn't there.

My foster mom and dad say that I am very smart because I know some commands like SIT, STAY, DOWN, SHAKE and HIGH 5. I love people and my fur friends here like my foster sister Lacey who you can see me playing with in my photos. I even like my fur brothers Barney the cat and Bailey the crabby little poodle mix. I have chased them both but only to play and they have become less afraid of my energy. I love to be outside playing with my friends and rolling in the snow. It seems the only thing I need to work on is my behavior while walking on a leash. I tend to get excited and want to keep moving even if my foster parents are slower than me. They said next walk we get to use the "Gentle Leader". Yeah?

JoJo is adjusting well to life here with us.  She loves to be outside and will lay on the deck waiting for that pesky squirrel to make a mistake so she can tear off after him.  She has also taken to her crate when home alone.  She goes right in when told to "kennel up."  She is also working on sharing toys with the resident animals and occasionally plays "I am going to catch you" with the cat. I think the cat likes this game because he seems to encourage it.  JoJo just wants someone to play with.  Maybe you could find a place in your home for this very special girl?  Here are a few photos, including one of our sweet girl and her friend, Lacey:
