January 1, 2010: Keegan is a 6½ year-old, neutered Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix that arrived today and is such a playful, happy, easygoing boy!
I’m just getting to know him, but so far he gets along well with our resident Mia and two young children. He loves to play fetch…..retrieves the ball and tosses it right into your hands.
Keegan will be visiting the vet this week and I’ll send an update as soon as I learn more about this sweet boy.

Keegan has found his forever family! He is joining the David and Rebecca P. family along with their two children and his new fur brother Grady.
Keegan made himself part of our family the day he arrived, and we loved every minute we had with him! Another wonderful RAGOM match for Keegan and his forever family!
Keegan has been with us for just over a week, and I have fallen in love! He went to the vet yesterday and is now current on all immunizations, and microchipped. The vet said Keegan has a very athletic heart, and is in excellent health. He has the spirit AND the body of a two-year old!
We have a young resident female, Mia, who can be a bit of a diva. Keegan just ignored her diva behavior, and now they are great friends. Keegan is also living with two young kids, and is great with them too. He has free roam of our house, is completely potty trained and loves to play with toys – but only plays with his own (leave the kids stuff alone). He is very gentle with treats, no counter surfing….shall I go on?! I have yet to see anything he does that is not adorable!
I walk Keegan with a gentle leader and he’s a perfect gentleman. He loves playing outside running in the back yard – even this week with the very cold temperature. He is very affectionate, sleeps right next to me on the floor all night, and then I have two cute puppy faces lying on my bed in the morning. When I open my eyes their bums wiggle like crazy telling me it is time to PLAY! No time for sleep! Check are a few photos of the sweet boy.
