From Keila's new family -

It's still going great! Already, I can tell Keila feels comfortable here. She is so quiet all night, lying on her bed next to my bed.
Saturday night we went to the Twins game, so I put her bed in the crate and had her in there for a few hours and she did fine. Sunday, I did a few errands and I let her stay loose in the house for a couple of hours, and there were no problems at all, so today she was loose while I was at work. I came home at lunchtime and she was fine, and then my daughter was home from school a couple of hours later.
She is such a little sweetheart and loves to play, and also spends a lot of time watching the birds out on the deck. She doesn't let me get too far away from her before she comes to find where I'm at in the house. If she knows I'm in the shower, she's fine, and lays on the floor in the living room facing the bathroom so she can see if I go anywhere.
The only time Keila barks is when the doorbell rings, otherwise she's real quiet. She loves to give lots of kisses too. She sure loves food too! I had to put the bananas up because she grabbed one, peel and all. I've been able to take things away from her with no problem. She hasn't shown any negative behavior with either myself or Lauren. She does that "play" growl with toys every once in awhile, but I verbally remind her to stay quiet. She teases us... retrieves something, but then when you reach to get it from her she turns her head away.
So far, so good! I'll be sure and keep you updated. Bye for now.
Keila sends her slobbery kisses...
