King is in his furever home. He was adopted by a wonderful couple who will love him tremendously. For the time being he will be the only child and will be very spoiled. He will get lots of attention and will be "King" of the house.

This is King here. Back from a little hiatus. I was off of the grid for a while but I am back now.

I am doing really well. We are still working on my leash skills. That is coming along nicely but I still need some work in that area.

Also I am coming right along with being nice to the cats, as you can see in the pictures. I am fine with them if they are being still. However if they move fast then I think that they are telling me that they want to play and I will go for them so we can play. I am very slowly learning that is not the case. They DO NOT want to play and I am NOT to go for them. Guess I need work in that area too, huh?

Foster mom and foster dad keep telling me that I am just the sweetest boy ever. I am a velcro dog and I follow them everywhere. I just want all of those scritches, scratches and pets that they give me all the time. If you have lots of hard balls, hard bones, another furry friend that likes to play play play and you want all of the loving you can stand, then I am just the boy for you.

I'm back to tell you how I am going and the progress that I have made. First of all, the good doctor gave me a clean bill of health. Yeah.

I am now playing nicely with the other puppers and I love to play so another dog who will play with me would be a plus. I'm afraid that if I do not have another dog to play with that I will get bored and that would not be a good thing. Because I have lots of energy I need things to keep me busy.

I do play by myself but it has to be things that are really hard or I will chew them up. Also I am way better with the little four legged furry things that are here. (AKA, the cats) I am still interested in them because I want to play with them but I do not chase them like I was in the beginning.

We are working on me not pulling on my walks and that is going nicely with a harness on me but it is still a work in progress and I need to keep practicing that.

I have graduated from the crate and I do not have to be in the crate at night or when foster mom and foster dad are not home. But DO NOT leave any food on the counter or I will have it and do not leave paper towels or kleenex around where I can get to it because I will tear them up.

Even though I have been doing pretty good I still will need to go to obedience class(s) because I am still a young pup that needs to learn some more things.

I do not have to eat my breakfast or supper in the crate any more. I can now eat out with the other puppers who all have their special places that they eat (I have my special place now too) and if I get done before any of them I will leave them alone and not bother them. I am learning to sit before I eat and not to eat until I am told: "Good boy, you can eat."

I do have selective hearing, especially outside, and I do not always come when I am called. So that is also a work in progress.

I am potty trained if I am let out often. If I really have to go I will go up and down the hallway to the door and go find foster mom or foster dad. I really need a fenced in yard to so I can do all of my running to get some of my energy out.

I am a ball hound but if you throw it to me while we are in the backyard I will go get it but I will not bring it back to you. That is something that we are working on also.

I don't know if I am good around kids or not but foster mom says she is pretty sure that I will like kids but older kids would be best because of all of my energy. I would knock the little kids down and I really do not want to hurt anyone.

I just love my humans and I follow foster mom all over. I am a real love bug so if you also have lots of love, scritches and scratches to give, I just may be the pupper for you.

This is King here. I've been lax in getting my first update in but I've been waiting until I saw the good doctor so I can tell you about that. I came from someplace called China. All I know is that I was saved and it was a really long ride to get here. I came over with 5 other dogs and we are really happy to be here.

The good doctor said that I was just the most handsome boy. I weighed 64 lbs. But I think I now weigh a little more than that because my foster mom says that when I first got here you could feel all of my ribs and she could get her fingers in between them. She can still feel my ribs but cannot get her fingers in between them.

This is probably due to the fact that I am fed three times a day because of meds I need to take because of a couple of infections that I have. My meds will be done in just a few more days and then the good doctor will check to make sure that I am okay.

I didn't have the balls and the hard chewies that I do here and I just love them. I am a BIG ball hound and love chasing them.

It has been really snowy here so it is harder for foster mom and foster dad to play ball with me outside. Also it was REALLY REALLY cold here for a couple of weeks so we did not spend much time outside during that time. I also love the hard chewies that I can chew on.

Foster mom has really been working on my manners. I have learned to "sit", I have learned to "sit and wait" until I am told that I can eat, and I have been crate trained.

I am potty trained and have never had an accident in the house. We are working on my jumping up on foster mom and foster dad but I think I still need a lot of work with that.  I just get so excited for the attention and the pets.

I do pull on the leash so when the weather starts to cooperate then I will go on more walks and we will work on that. I do know my name but I have selective hearing and sometimes do not come.

Also I am way too interested in the little four legged furry things that are here. I really want to play with them but I am too rough with them. So I am constantly being told that I DO NOT chase the cats.

Also everytime I go out to potty I run right to the fence to see if I can see the goats. I am interested in them but am told that I cannot go and play with them.

I really like to play with the resident puppers here but I do play pretty hard so many times the play has to stop.

I do counter surf and foster mom and foster dad are working on that with me. Also I will chew on kleenex or paper towels if I find one on the floor. I like to tear them apart.

All in all I am told that I am a good boy. I have lots of love to give and with some obedience classes I will be a wonderful pupper for my furever family.
