Kinnick has found a forever home with a retired couple and quickly made peace with their two cats. He has decided he is going to be an ideal addition to his new home.

He now lives by a lake and has a fenced-in yard, which he uses frequently and avidly for numerous extended rounds of run and fetch. He takes daily walks and has had no trouble meeting and greeting all manner of walkers and fellow dogs in his new surroundings.

Kinnick is home.

Kinnick has settled into his foster home and seems to enjoy the quiet of a household with no young children. He comes when called, eats and plays without guarding what’s in front of him, stays when told to, and sits on command with only a moderate need to think it over.

He clearly communicates when he wants to go outside and sleeps through the night with an occasional bark to let his companions (two- and four-legged) know that though there is nothing dangerous going on, he is on the job, and will handle anything that comes up.

Kinnick is always up for a game of fetch and almost always has something to carry around, just waiting for a chance to run and get it if someone happens to throw it for him!

Kinnick will need a forever home with no children. Although he isn't aggressive towards other dogs, he has shown signs of stress, so he might do best as an only dog. He does get along with cats.
