Hi!

My name is Kristin, but my friends all call me Maisie, and I am a 2-year-old purebred Golden retriever looking for my forever home. I am from Turkey so I came halfway around the world to find my forever family. I was found as a stray there and rescued by some very nice people who sent me to RAGOM.

I have been in the U.S. a little over a month and am finding that I like it here very much. I even understand a little English now!

I love to run around and play, because I am only two, and I play very nicely with my dog and cat siblings. They are teaching me how to play with toys because I wasn't quite sure what to do with them! I am learning to swim as well.

I am a snugglepuss and find my foster family's couch very comfortable. I sleep in my foster parents' bedroom and they close the door at night. However, I do have free range of the house while they're gone. I don't think I have any bad habits but Foster Mom says I bark a little too much sometimes when neighbor dogs walk by.

Foster Mom says I am one of the most mellow Goldens she has ever had, and that I will be a wonderful addition to my forever family. She says I am very, very sweet and she just loves looking in my eyes!

I can live with kids 8 years old or older. I’m a typical Golden who wags her tail and barges right in, so toddlers might get knocked over. But I’m also very gentle and mellow.

I don't require a fence or another dog but I would like a family who will play with me, show and teach me new things, keep me safe and secure, and just love me. And I promise to love you right back!
