5/30/06: Lady arrived at my house this weekend - all the way up from Iowa. She is a beautiful golden color, we think about 2-3 years old. She was a stray who is soooo affectionate and loving with my 3 kids and 2 resident dogs it's hard to believe someone might have given her up??? She will be going to the vet tomorrow to get all checked out and up to date on all shots. She has had a bath and really loves playing in the water.....she spent the whole weekend playing with my kids in their inflatable pool in the backyard! She knows her commands and is completely house trained. She has free run of our house and is not a naughty chewer at all! She actually is a dream dog if I do say so! Some family is going to get pretty lucky with her....I will update more after our vet check.

We were blessed to have found the perfect lady Golden Retriever and she has become a great family addition. She is loving and very well behaved and has even adjusted to the long time household cat. Yesterday Lady and I went for a walk on bicycle path and I was in my power scooter and she was not at all afraid. She trotted beside me at about 2.5 or 3 miles per hour. It was only a 5/6 minute walk but will get longer each day. I have attached some photos of Lady after being a new family member for only 2.5 days.
