Lauren/Sadie 07-669

Profile

This pretty girl is Lauren, a young blonde beauty that was picked up as a stray near Coon Rapids, along with her partner in crime, Brody 07-670. The shelter held her as long as it could, but when Lauren and Brody were about to be euthanized, RAGOM intervened. The two dogs were transported during a rush-hour snow storm from the shelter straight to the vet, where both were brought up to date on their vaccinations and microchipped, never to be lost again, we hope!

Lauren is underweight at 58 pounds, but otherwise healthy. The vet found a spay scar, indicating that she was spayed probably within the past year. She's a little stinky from her stint in the hoosegow, so I look forward to giving her a nice bath tomorrow.

When I got her home, Lauren seemed to know her way around a house and had no trouble with the stairs. She's a bit obsessed with my cats, however, so we will have to monitor her very carefully around them and see if she will learn that they're members of my pack--not dinner!

Lauren is a sweet, healthy young female, and I expect she will be snapped up quickly. So if you're an approved applicant who's interested in meeting her, don't delay! Contact Placementatragom [dot] org ASAP!

Sadie has met a wonderful couple with the perfect home situation. They have no other dogs to squabble with over food, and no fences that may tempt her to jump! John and Karen S. have taken Sadie to her forever home in Ham Lake, where she will work with a trainer to learn more manners and bring out the perfect Golden Retriever inside her.

Congratulations, Miss Sadie! I'll miss you (even if Chaz won't).

Sadie, giving her new daddy a kiss behind the ear.
