Lexie arrived at our house yesterday. She is a little black girl with some light tan hairs coming in on her legs. There is also a little bit of seal brown color around her ears and on her face. Lexie is approximately 6 1/2 weeks old and is the runt of the litter. She has a very sweet personality and loves to cuddle. Now that she doesn't have to fight off all of her brothers, she has shown some assertiveness with Zack. They both love to play tug of war and sometimes Lexie even wins. I think as time goes on, she will gain more self-confidence and will be able to show her true spirit.

Lexie is currently being treated for roundworms and will be getting some Heartguard as her mother tested positive for heartworm. She is up to date on her puppy vaccinations and will be getting microchipped soon.

Lexie and Zack slept very well in their crate last night. They have been playing very hard today and have gone potty outside many times. Lexie loves to sit and watch the snowflakes floating down. We have to hurry and get in though or she will be a little wet puppy. Both puppies have been taking some frequent naps after all of that play time - they love the big dog bed and the stuffed toys that get to take naps right along with them.

We will update more as we get to know Lexie better.
