My name is Lily.
I am a five month old female Golden that is blonde in color. I came from a family that loves me enough to know they could not take care of me. I am still a puppy and I have a lot of energy. I need attention and lots of love and affection. My old family rescued me from being left in a parking lot. They were told I was about four weeks old at the time. My old family thought they could keep me or find me a good home. They wanted to keep me, but they do not have the time to train or learn how to best take care of me. I am excited to be going on my first visit to something called a vet today. My new foster mother gave me a much-needed bath and brushing last night. Being clean is a new concept for me because I was mostly running free in the back yard - rolling in mud, but I think I love being groomed.
I am really friendly and love to play. I have the best time with kids of all ages. I have never growled or bitten anyone. I eat dry dog food with lots of fresh water and I like my dog biscuits and chew toys. I have had my run of a big fenced-in back yard and slept in the garage. I would love to find a family like my foster family that would let me sleep inside.
I hope you are looking forward to adopting me. I will be your best friend.
Thank you for reading about me!
Love,
Lily
