Logan continues to settle in and win us over. He is less anxious now but has lots of energy, reminding me that he is only 2 years old.
Logan is a very good boy. He's affectionate, loyal, and fun. He behaves himself very well in the house at all times. No potty accidents, counter surfing, begging at the table, or inappropriate chewing.
He apparently was allowed on the furniture in his previous home because he doesn't think twice before joining us on the couch or in bed. We don't mind because our dog joins us as well. If this is a behavior that you do not allow in your home, I'm sure he can be trained to stay off of the furniture. He's a smart guy. If you have unwanted squirrels in your yard, Logan is ready to help. He chases squirrels with gusto, showing incredicle bursts of speed that even an olympian would envy.
Speaking of training, Logan needs obedience training. He still jumps up on people frequently and gets really super excited when company comes over. This behavior is his only issue.
Logan enjoys going for walks and walks nicely with his Gentle Leader most of the time. He pulls on occasion when there's something he really wants to check out close up. We walk him twice a day, 30 minutes per walk. In fact, we're heading out for a walk now. More to come later!
